Joud got it all right, the lovely owner of Sushi Shinto Hazmieh opened a new branch in Mar mkhayel, beautifully lit inside out.
As a faithful to the first branch, it was a must to pass ans try the newly opened one.
The experience is enhanced by the attention from all the staff, the relaxed atmosphere and music, the lighting that just adds to the freshness of the ambiance! And our table was number 13! My favorite combination for an wesome evening!
We started by an appetizer highly recommended by Joud:” rice paper rolls”: four pieces generously filled with veggie slaw and shrimps, and presented in bamboo baskets along with a dipping sauce that could use a kick.
-Seaweed salad: beautifully presented over a bed of lollo rosso and coated with a sauce that enhances the mix of the flavors.
-Tuna, octopus and salmon sushi: satisfying big fresh pieces.
– Tuna temaki: presented at the start od the order as it should be eaten first and was a good teaser for the palate!
– A selection of maki rolls: the seaweed, tuna furikake, tuna lover, sea roll, hulk, special shrimp, try me and naked tuna: a treat for the eyes and stomach!
And the dinner was crowned by the mochi selection with a velvety texture melting in your mouth very delicious and probably the best I tasted so far.
The service was exquisite, attentive, caring and lovable! The freshness was the key word to define the dinner experience needless to say it is a must try!
