The Petite’s guide to spring 2018 trends and makeup tips from Badura!

Spring knocked the doors and while most are busy with spring cleaning the body, the soul and the closet, I will be there giving you the seasonal tips you all wait for!

How about we do things differently this season! Not only would we go through the top 5 new trends, this time I am very thrilled to have our first guest post from Badura Korfan. If you follow her instagram page, you surely love her beautiful take on makeup, her genuine reviews and how simple it is to follow her tips.

Lets explore the new season then:

1- Floral and feminine prints:

Margot Robbie wears it perfectly in this romantic floral dress. Ruffles, gingham and asymmetric cuts are the trend this season. Don’t shy off the “kitsh” feeling as it might look like something your grandma wore. In fact, search her closet or your mother’s as you might find a good option!

3- Fabrics

Neylon, yes you heard it right! Even vinyl are actually taking over your closet. You can pair them with dress, be careful not to go overboard.

As I said it here, pastel colors are sprinkling our wardrobe this season. Personally, I can’t wait to put my hands on lilac, but you can go for pink, lemon or any of the pretty shades.

8- Makeup trends

It’s time to abscond, dash, and bolt out that ultra-beaming highlighter with saucy lips!

SPRING is a lovely season to remind us of how beautiful change can truly be. This means that it’s time to revive your looks by following the cutting edge trends.

Some Runaways:

Do We not all cringe when we see clumpy lashes huh? So, from puny, cadaverous, and scraggy lashes look, the new trend is all about fluffy whispies all over the lash line. Let’s not forget to revamp our looks with some meddlesome glosses so it is showcased as smart-alecky.

Here, I will provide you with the top 3 trends for this spring to slay most of the looks (YAS GURL ):

Glistening, Fulgent, and Luminous Glow:

We can all be grateful towards BAD GAL RIRI for starting off this trend. She initiated the looks that include flickering, gleaming, and scintillating highlighting. Tons of celebrities, makeup artists, makeup bloggers, and influencers are wearing such kind of highlighters. Although Fenty Beauty highlighters are far from being subtle, they are all extremely pliable which is AH-mazing for STROBING ( we all know this technique, don’t we?).  One of her most used Duo-Highlighter is #KILLAWATT in #MEANMONEY & #HU$LABABY.

TIP: Grab a fan brush, spray some Fix+ from Mac and dust off the highlighter on every face side where the sun hits at. Mainly, on the C side above the cheeks, a little bit on the brow bone, temples, tear duct, cupid’s bow, bridge of the nose, an some on the chin for THE EXTRA GLOW .

Intense, Bold, and Tinted Eyes:

Spring makeup would not be outright, whole-hog, and perfect without some pop of color all over the lids (do not forget to blend, we don’t want to look like a scary crown with a repelling look!). This year, the suitable colors for a splendid eye look ranges from orangey, yellowish, to reddish ones ( of course, blended with its warm ones).  

Glossy, Glassy, and Lustrous finish:

Glossy lips in any and all shades are still a must in 2018. Despite the fact that Matte lipsticks held sway out era, it’s a must to still utilize some glossy lippies for a more lucent finish.

You can try this trend by applying whatever shade you like, adding the #GLOSSBOMB from Fenty Beauty on top ( you’ll thank me later ), or you can only apply the gloss for fuller, sexier, and steamy plumped lips.
