As we cross the third week of lockdown, I am sad to see that some people are not taking it seriously, the harm that you can bring with random action does not affect you only but those around you. I urge you please to be thoughtful.

Social distancing

When will this be over? No one but God knows, however the certain thing is that if we all commit to social distancing and those who are sick to quarantine, we will be faster on our way to beat this.

While we are home, many are being creative in the kitchen, others are being happy getting their favorite food delivered. We are also visiting the supermarkets quiet often, so here are tips on how to clean kitchen and disinfect food.

Did you see my lockdown song?!

F for fun

In times where many items are not found, here is a good DIY on how to make your own mask.

Even better how about you volunteer and do this mask for caregivers, nurses and doctors?

I know many people are sheltering in place, busy mask making right now. In case you are stuck at home without a mask and wanted to make one, here’s an easy pattern I found online. These step by step photos should make it self explanatory to make, but let me know if you have questions. You can easily hand sew this mask if you don’t have a sewing machine. I left the side slot open because I was going to use it to slide in a filter to add extra protection to this two-ply, 100% cotton mask. It’s hardcore DIY time folks! I used the small size Fu Face mask pattern found on the freesewing.org site to make this one and it fit my son, who is 5’9”, comfortably. It fit me too and I’m 5’3”. Note: These cloth masks are not intended to replace surgical masks or N95 masks. Wearing a fabric mask is an act of kindness since it protects others more than it protects the water. Since so many of us could be infected, asymptotic spreaders or carriers it’s important that we all wear a mask when we go outside, in addition to socially distancing, and in addition to washing hands. Children aged 2 and under should not wear masks. . . . . #masks #fufacemask #quarantine #covid-19 #coronavirus #makemasks #millionmaskmarch #facemask #masks4all #mask  #protectivemask  #clothmasks  #clothmask  #facemaskhomemade  #fabricmasks #faceprotection  #facemask  #facecover #covidmasks
