Just near Lisa, a new restaurant found its way around a year ago, it was time to step and try it.
The location is breathtaking, an authentic old house transformed, walk in to a warm interior, piano bar, smiling servers, that was promising.
So we sat down, we were served freshly baked bread the time we ordered our dinner, and the deception hit us
- Calamars à la provençale: in the potatoes nest over beetroot tartare: disastrous, I was not able to swallow it, what a repulsive taste, I hardly had few bites of the nest and beetroot
- Risotto aux quatres champignons: crunchy, no not aldente sorry but no, a complete failure
- Sauteed vegetables: nothing to rave about.
I could not help by express our deception, they were very attentive, tried to make ut up by offering us the dessert:
Tarte au chocolat fondant: beautiful serving and dense flavors
Mille feuille caramel: though not a fan but it was really good
If it was not for the attentiveness in which they received our feedback, and their continuous apologies, the night would have been a total deception, yet they managed to make us leave with a smile.
I would give it another try, to give a fair rating.
