HEAAATT but won’t complain, as long as we are blessed with good weather. Omg, every time I see photos from Europe with rain pouring, or even last year when I was in Florida and rain interrupting our pool day knowing that at least there it doesn’t gel cold like Europe), I just say Hamdella for our Mediterranean weather!
Heat also this time on the runway with the Haute couture week that was for three days in Paris, gracing us with beauty of styles.

As I mentioned, Paris Haute Couture week was fast but efficient! My subscribers got all the shows updates as soon as they were out, so subscribe to my Instagram to be the first to know about fashion and all sorts of exclusive topics. As detailed by BOF, Vogue and Style not com mainly, these were the shows reviews.
Alaia started the shows one day prior to the official calendar, with a collection of modern silhouettes and sexy 8os styles, think latex and the invitation was the actual chairs the attendees had to get with them to sit on them! Patou’s dancing diaries which was not a couture show but SS24 was filled with colors and funky scrunchies. Schiaparelli’s collection inspired by adventure had as usual the sharpness while Roseberry served the imaginary closet where items can be mixed and matched in a surrealistic twist. Dior’s inspiration from iconographic goddesses was sort of disappointing as it was closer to RTW. In my opinion so was Chanel, where Viard wanted to reflect the duality of a French Lady, I still felt the repetition from previous collection. Hobeika’s enchanting collection was mesmerizing, from the dresses to the accessories, the colors and the delicate embroideries, chapeau. Thom Browne’s first time in Paris was filled with greys in a very theatrical show where even the attendees were asked to dress in grey. Tony ward’s fluid collection was mainly focused on fiery orange and black. Armani’s collection served real haute couture as he saw that it was lacking, in all shades of red and black. Stephane Rolland paid tribute to Maria Callas, Rahul Mishra’s dedicated work to revive the love of artisanal embroidery was captivating. Rami Al Ali’s gowns brought the guests to coastal towns with cinched waists and fluid fabrics. Alexander Vauthier’s collection reminded me of YSL, I didn’t see their own identity. Georges Shakra’s golden hues and sheer gowns were as light as summer breeze. Giambattista Valli is always faithful to the volumes and ruffles. Iris Van Herpen architectural and futuristic collection was inspired by bionic innovations, Balenciaga is also back serving the futuristic vision. Elie Saab’s show was captivating taking the guests to medieval days with capes and head covers as well a soft color palette embroidered gowns. Jean Paul Gaultier as designed by Dossena from Paco Rabanne as their fifth guest designer, serving theatrical and extravagant gowns. Viktor and Rolf always makes a statement with catchy phrases. Zuhair Murad’s impressive work with gothic and medieval accents where models were dressed in black ad white with veils and lace details. Valentino’s Un Chateau turned heads in Chantilly with couture denim, feathers, opera gloves, 3d accessories and huge earrings in gold, red, black and green hues. Fendi introduced their high jewelry collection held lose to heart literally with gowns in tones echoing the gemstones. Ashi Studio was invited and he didn’t fail with is first show as the models walked with dramatic silhouettes with cutouts, curved beaded tops and dramatic shoulders. And finally, Sara Chraibi again amazed her guests with the Moroccan touch on gowns with dominance of black and white and gold.
