London and Milan fashion weeks had surely served us the most beautiful trends for the upcoming FW23! Harris Reed is now with Nina Ricci, and pre-opened LFW with all the voluminous dramatic looks that don’t fail to impress. 16 Arlington’s new world is all romantic and beautiful with sheer and laces and feather with a toned down palette. Nensi Dojaka has marked her territory again in the playful silhouettes in peony bralettes ad mini dresses while Molly Goddard went more simple in the tulle usage to make it more versatile. Christopher Kane translated the love for mother nature in unusual prints like chicken and butterflies as well as pigs in different textures and colors. Erdem’s collection was inspired by the 19th century British photographer Julia Margaret with ruffles and vibrant silks and lace. Longley awaited Burberry’s new collection by Daniel Lee celebrated British DNA with the brand’s iconic prints and trenches turned into dresses in a contemporary collection. Off to Milan, Prada contrasted mini and midi skirts, grays and pastel, and loose shirt collars as they were seen in the men collection. Etro’s collection was a form of self expression for Marco De Vincenzo, using the signature prints on long dresses and smart casual looks. Blumarine opted for grunge aesthetics while Moschino’s collection re-imagined the classic tweed skirt- suits in a rock and roll inspiration. MaxMara never fail to impress with the signature tailored pieces and Alberta Ferreti’s classic silhouettes included leather separates and velvet as well as shearling. Tod’s looks were perfect in shearling and leather a well as wool separates. Fendi’s elegance inspired by Delfina, Silvia Venturini Fendi’s daughter, was shown in twisted drape satin dresses and ribbed knits among other styles. Diesel’s show featured a collaboration with durex and a lineup of edgy looks in leather and faux fur. GCDS showed a collection with large bows and oversized coats while Genny served midi skirts and color blocking looks. Emporio Armani’s show a treat to the eye, in a mix of colors and looks to please all tastes.
