Silver screens and golden dreams, oh Los Angeles whatever they say about you they don’t do you right.
I couldn’t imagine it any other way, a girls trip with my sister was the perfect way to explore LA.

Where to stay
You have first to decide in which area you would like to spend most time, before choosing your hotel. We planned our visit during End of November so the beach option was ruled out for us, we wanted mainly to ficus in these three days to explore Hollywood, Beverly hills and downtown LA. That is why we opted for West Hollywood as it was close from those different destinations.

We stayed at Kimpton Everly, which is few minutes away from the walk of fame and around 20 minutes away from both Downtown and Beverly hills. The hotel has its own pool and terrace as well as a restaurant. Some of the rooms also give on the Hollywood sign. In all cases make sure choose your room on the highest floors to enjoy the city of lights view, from sunrise to sunset.

What to do
You have to decide first which side of the sign do you want to see to snap the perfect shot, there are two types of hikes; the first will get you to the front of the hike and the second one to behind it.

We opted for the first since we wanted to see the front only. We booked the hike through airbnb experiences, knowing that you can do it on your own. I totally recommend Bikes and Hikes as they were very professional and organized. Check my youtube video about the hike and book yours with them ( not sponsored!) . Alina was such a great leader, and the skills in photography will amaze you!
Check my youtube video about the hike.
The hike costed around 26 $ per person.

After you finish the hike, head to the Observatory whee you can learn about space and stars, see the sun and many more activities included. Sometimes they organize events at night all around astronomy.
Admission is free for most areas.

If you are lucky to visit LA during Spring and Summer, you might catch a performance for your favorite artist.
Live your Hollywood moment, and check the different stars which are spread on many blocks on both sides. And who knows, maybe you can be lucky to have one star inauguration while you are there.

Downtown LA
A haven for bookworms, music aficionados and vintage thrifts, you can easily spend hours searching to find the best catch of an old book or record, and new ones.

The oldest building (Built in 1893) in the central city that includes the iconic open bird cage elevator. You can book a guided visit or roam inside for free.

Visit it with open appetite to enjoy the different food court options serving since 1917.

Another landmark, since 1901 as the world’s shortest railway between Grand central market and hill street.
Fare is 1 $ each way.

Not so far from the previous attractions, the hall is an architectural landmark by Frank Gehry. Make sure to plan your visit not on a Saturday like we did as they were closed to public, and check the schedule to attend any of the concerts.

Beverly Hills
Luxury compact, in one location where you see the high end designers shops as well as fancy boutiques and restaurant. We visited during Christmas time and I can only say it was MAGICAL.

The shopping and dining destination in Beverly Hills that should be on your list.

Ever heared of Paul smith wall, Angel wings wall, Marline Monroe wall…. Melrose avenue is the place to be in case you are looking to snap the best instagram worthy photos for your feed.

Where to eat
After visiting it in Belgrade I was so thrilled to check the LA spot. Their restaurant is a perfect spot to mingle and enjoy a tasty unique meal. If you visit during warm days you can also enjoy their rooftop

Your coffee fix has the right address. we tried their coffee and their chia pudding, and of course shot many snaps by their colorful wall!

Please, do me and yourself a favor, and TRY this place. Make sure to reserve ahead to immerse yourself in Asian cuisine experience

Los Angeles is for you to enjoy all the healthy new spots, and we had to try that all vegetarian Mexican experience which we loved!

We had a mission to try the LA version of açai bowl and we weren’t deceived.

Rest after the Hollywood hike and enjoy a meal on the terrace. They have a very practical system where you order before being seated and your food will be later delivered as per your table number.

Just across from Alcove, is a very tasty ice cream destination. Make sure to satisfy your crave with their not so regular flavors and their huge portions. They also have merchandise to sell.

I remember this place from Dubai City Walk, and I loved how they maintain the same quality in their franchise. We enjoyed our morning sunny breakfast in down town LA. It was literally packed and we had to wait for our order but it was worth the wait.

On Rodeo drive, the upscale service is not only in the high end designers shopping experience, but equally in the restaurants. A Mediterranean lunch with their special du jour was the best fuel before shopping.

Another sweet tooth destination for us, they do serve meals too, but we went there for desserts only.

It is the city that captivated my heart just like NYC and surely this will be one of many other trips.
