Inside the beautiful Sandpearl resort, I was hoping to enjoy a breakfast on their terrace overlooking Clearwater beach, but unfortunately, they stop serving it at 11 and lunch is not served before 12.
Impatiently waiting, we checked the menu, which has fewer options than the dinner, so I was again deceived.
Midweek, the service was too slow, and not as friendly, we managed to pick our order which took forever to arrive.
The Bread basket was really good, I preferred the one with red pepper the most.
The Margarita flatbread was really good: fresh mozarella with heirloom tomatoes and drizzled with balsamic reduction, crispy and warm with a great contrast in flavors.
The Hawaiian Poke was not as fresh, the taste was masked with the soy
The crab cake was average with a beautiful presentation and not more.
A tiny green salad landed as a side was more disappointing than not having any salad.
Overall, deception marked this brunch, from the service to the food options and taste.
Not sure if I will give it another try.
