Take the steps from the busy Mar Mkhayel street to reach the newly opened Atelier du miel garden and workshop.
We picked our table, near the green wall, to go calmly through their reduced menu.
The welcome plate is a selection of different honey flavors served with fruits and pain d’épices, preparing the palate discretely to savoring the food.
We picked:
- The cheese plate: feeding the eyes before the belly: what a beautiful presentation and premium cheese selection accompanied with two types of honey; i recommend it
- The lollo verde bulgur salad sans bulgur! very appealing and tasty with the marriage of complimentary ingredients; needless to say the dressing based on honey was very unique and tasty
The service sweet as honey, attentive and knowledgeable waiters. The only inconvenient was the heat as the ventilator is not enough to be shared with many tables; I felt it would be more enjoyable for a morning or afternoon and on milder weather conditions.
