Here are some looks inspirations to make sure that your are the best dressed guest! You can shop all these looks from my list of favorites on Fwrd and Revolve!

First, let’s go through general recommendations when shopping for the look make sure to check the wedding invitation for any specific dress code guidelines or theme suggestions. It’s always better to be slightly overdressed than underdressed for a wedding!

Fabrics: Select fabrics like chiffon, silk, cotton, or linen, as they are breathable and comfortable in the summer heat. Avoid heavy fabrics like velvet or wool.

Length: It’s usually best to choose a dress that falls below the knee or at midi length. However, make sure to follow the wedding’s dress code if there is one. For a more formal wedding, a cocktail dress that hits above the knee may be appropriate.

Colors and Prints: Embrace the summer spirit by wearing bright colors, pastels, or vibrant prints. However, be mindful of any specific color requests or themes mentioned in the wedding invitation. Avoid wearing white or any shade that may overshadow the bride.

Shoes: Opt for comfortable yet stylish shoes, such as strappy sandals, wedges, or block heels. Avoid stilettos or shoes that could sink into grass if the wedding is outdoors. Also, consider the venue when selecting footwear—for example, flat sandals may be more suitable for a beach wedding.

Accessories: Complete your outfit with appropriate accessories. Add a statement necklace, earrings, or a clutch that complements your dress. Consider wearing a hat or fascinator for an outdoor daytime wedding.

Makeup and Hair: Choose a makeup look that suits your personal style and the formality of the event. Opt for a long-lasting foundation, waterproof mascara, and a natural lip color. Style your hair in an updo or a polished hairstyle that will keep you cool and elegant throughout the celebration.

Now let’s dive into looks inspiration for destination wedding.

Beach Destination Wedding

Opt for a lightweight and breathable dress in a festive color or print. Flowy maxi dresses, floral fit-and-flare dresses, or elegant wrap dresses are all excellent options.

Resort Destination Wedding

If the wedding is at a resort, consider a semi-formal or cocktail attire. A stylish midi dress or a chic jumpsuit paired with strappy heels or dressy sandals would be suitable. Choose fabrics like silk or lightweight satin for an elegant touch.

Mountain Destination Wedding

Opt for a dress with longer sleeves and a slightly heavier fabric to keep warm in cooler temperatures. You can choose a knee-length dress paired with closed-toe heels. Add a shawl or wrap for extra warmth if needed.

City Destination Wedding

Go for a more formal look, dress to impress with gowns in satin, tulle, and silk fabrics. Pick a midi-length style with eye-catching details or a tailored jumpsuit paired with heels or dressy flats would be appropriate. Incorporate statement accessories and a stylish clutch to complete your ensemble.

Cultural Destination Wedding

Make sure to respect the local traditions and customs. Research the appropriate dress code and consider wearing traditional attire or incorporating elements of the local culture into your outfit while still being respectful.

Outdoor Destination Wedding

Choose a flowy dress in light fabrics like chiffon or silk. Opt for pastel or floral prints to embrace the natural surroundings. Pair your dress with comfortable heels or wedges that won’t sink into the grass.

Quiet luxury looks for my Minimalist girls

Embrace simplicity, clean lines, and quiet luxury aesthetic. Here are some outfit ideas:

Sleek and Structured Dress in a solid color. Choose a silhouette with clean lines and minimal embellishments. A shift dress, a slip dress, or a tailored sheath dress would be excellent choices. Stick to neutral colors like white, black, or muted tones for a minimalist look.

Tailored Jumpsuit well-fitted in a solid color or subtle pattern. Pair it with simple heels or minimalist sandals for a chic and sophisticated ensemble.

Monochromatic Ensemble: combine a white silk blouse with tailored white pants or a cream-colored top with a matching midi skirt. This creates a sleek and minimalist statement.

Minimalist Accessories: Choose delicate jewelry like dainty necklaces or stud earrings. Opt for a sleek clutch or a small crossbody bag in a neutral color. Complete your minimalistic look with streamlined footwear. Choose simple pumps, strappy sandals, or minimalist mules. Stick to neutral colors like black, nude, or metallics to maintain the overall minimalist aesthetics.

And finally, stick to a clean and natural makeup look. Focus on even skin tone, a subtle blush, and a nude or soft lip color. Enhance your eyes with neutral eyeshadow shades and mascara. Keep your hairstyle polished and neat, such as a sleek low bun or a simple ponytail.
