Last week, I received the first Souhour package from MintBasil market, coupled with three recipes that are so easy to reproduce home! The best part was that you can prepare them in the evening to devour them on Souhour! And most importantly they are HEALTHY and TASTY!

I also had so much fun working on my Food Styling and take different shots using my new baby Canon!

Overnight Oatmeal:

Oats are high in fiber, Magnesium and vitamin E. They also fight constipation and regulate sugar level which will help you during your long fasting day.

Ingredients for two servings

  • Nabat Oats: 1 and half cup
  • Milk of your choice, I used The bridge Almond milk:  2 cups
  • Naturalia Chia seeds: 2 tsp
  • A fruit of your choice

Recipe

In two glasses or jars, start layering the ingredients: one layer of oats, over which you pour some milk, and top it with the chia, add slices of the fruit of your choice and finish with the rest of oat and milk! Let it sit overnight in the fridge.

Chia Pudding

Chia seeds are loaded with omega 3, iron, Magnesium, Zinc, vitamin B and calcium among many other nutrients, which can boost your immunity.  They also help maintain the blood sugar and cholesterol.

Ingredients for two servings

  • Naturalia Chia seeds: 4 tablespoons
  • Yogurt of your choice, I used regular yogurt
  • JJ Jar homemade Almond and Peanut butter (optional): 2 tsp
  • A fruit of your choice

Recipe

In two glasses or jars, start layering the ingredients: one layer of chia seed, one layer of yogurt over which I added one slice of kiwi before repeating the steps but instead of kiwi I added cherries slices and again another layer of chia and yogurt before ending it with the nuts butter! Let it sit overnight in the fridge.

Make sure you keep checking Mintbasil website for the new package and grab yours!
